El alemán en Conservatorios Superiores de Música para la internacionalización de la educación: una revisión sistemática de literatura

Resumen


La internacionalización es uno de los aspectos fundamentales a la hora de medir y evaluar la calidad de la educación superior y el aprendizaje de idiomas extranjeros es decisivo a la hora de fomentarla y promocionarla. Los Conservatorios Superiores de Música, como miembros del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, deben participar activamente de dicha internacionalización, fomentando el aprendizaje de, no solo el inglés, sino varios idiomas extranjeros de interés para los estudios superiores de música, entre los que destaca el alemán.

En este artículo se presenta una revisión sistemática de literatura sobre la enseñanza del alemán en Conservatorios Superiores de Música para la internacionalización de la educación.

Objetivos: presentar un estado de la cuestión que ofrezca una visión general sobre los estudios previamente realizados sobre la enseñanza del idioma alemán en educación musical superior; identificar los mejores estudios sobre la materia; sintetizar las contribuciones previas para identificar posibles vacíos de investigación y proponer líneas de investigación futura.

Metodología: se ha realizado una revisión sistemática de literatura científica a través de una búsqueda exhaustiva. Con el fin de garantizar la calidad de esta búsqueda, esta se ha llevado a cabo en las plataformas de bases de datos electrónicas de las revistas científicas: ProQuest, Web of Science y Scopus.

Resultados y limitaciones: a pesar de que esta investigación pueda tener ciertas limitaciones relacionadas con otros estudios potencialmente relevantes que hayan podido no ser revisados, los hallazgos más representativos nos indican que el aprendizaje de idiomas contribuye decididamente a la adquisición de la competencia intercultural, profundamente relacionada con la internacionalización de la educación superior.

Conclusiones: la literatura científica actual reconoce la pertinencia y utilidad del aprendizaje del idioma alemán en estudios superiores de música. Se está investigando sobre diversos enfoques metodológicos para implementar la competencia intercultural que conduce a la internacionalización de la educación, entre los que destacan el uso con fines educativos de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, el enfoque AICLE y el estudio de la motivación.

Abstract

Internationalization is one of the fundamental aspects when measuring and evaluating the quality of higher education and the learning of foreign languages is decisive to promote it. The High Conservatories of Music, as members of the European Higher Education Area, must actively participate in this internationalization, promoting the learning of, not only English, but several foreign languages of interest for higher music studies, standing out German.

In this article, a systematic review of the literature on the teaching of German in High Conservatories of Music for the internationalization of education is presented.

Objectives: To present a State of the Question that offers a general vision about the studies previously carried out on the teaching of the German language in higher musical education; to identify the best studies on the subject; synthesizing previous contributions to identify possible research gaps and propose future research lines.

Methodology: A systematic review of scientific literature has been carried out through an exhaustive search. In order to guarantee the quality of this search, it has been carried out on the electronic databases platforms of scientific journals: ProQuest, Web of Science and Scopus.

Results and limitations: Although this research may have certain limitations related to other potentially relevant studies that may not have been reviewed, the most representative findings indicate that language learning contributes decisively to the acquisition of intercultural competence, which is deeply related with the internationalization of higher education.

Conclusions: The current scientific literature recognizes the relevance and usefulness of learning the German language in higher music studies. Research is being done on various methodological approaches to implement intercultural competence that leads to the internationalization of education, among which the use for educational purposes of information and communication technologies, the CLIL approach and the study of motivation stand out.
